Come and enjoy Kombucha Cocktails and a weekend of creativity in Hebden Bridge!!
Equinox Kombucha will be flaunting our beverages at a weekend of Music and Art in Hebden Bridge on the 21st to the 22nd of March. Our crew will be serving up yummy Kombucha cocktails over the weekend, come and join in. :)
There will be an open mic session spanning the 2 days in the Live Room of the studio. If you fancy coming down to
sing a song, tell a story, read a poem or even have a quick dj mix come on down.
We will have a full band set-up including bass and guitar amps, drum kit, vocal mics, piano, two vintage organs and
vinyl decks (please bring your own vinyl). Priority will be given to acoustic acts on Sunday until 4pm.
In addition to the preview of Dorothy Simister’s new exhibition ‘Ambiguity’ (2pm-4pm), there will be a Spring Fair of
various stalls from local business in the surrounding area. This will include local food and drink, kids craft workshops
and craft stalls.
We have also invited some great artists in to do an exclusive gig on the Saturday evening:
Described by Abi Lewis from Wordplay Magazine as “Edinburgh’s finest”, we expect a great set from One Oz and
Sean El from United Front, who will be performing material from their new album ‘The Psychedelicatessen’.
A two piece who experiment with looping and guitar synth technology, as well as more natural acoustic elements,
creating a massive, live and organic sound.
Hebden Bridge-based neo-krautrock/jazz-punk combo Abrasive Pheasants will be teaming up with members of
local experimental rock band Vimana Attack for a one-off jam.
Having already made a big noise in their home town of Huddersfield, The Scriptors will be bringing their own strain
of homegrown Hip-Hop to Linden Mill.
This evening will run from 8pm ’til late, and tickets are just £5 on the door.
