We won best Vegan Drink in 2014 at VegFest London in September!!
After much handwork at Equinox Kombucha, it was nice to see people's appreciation by winning an award for best vegan drink of 2014 which was calculated by a public vote! (We must be doing something right.) Here are a few pics of the event: Chris and Rupert collect the award. Chris & Lucas at the end of the event. Here is the award doing it's thing.. We'd just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 2 years! Big love x
A nice mention of the Equinox Kombucha crew at VegFest BRISTOL in May 2014.
VegFest Bristol went down a treat for all there. We spent all week end handing out kombuch for all and generally spreading the love :) Check out a nice write up of the event by beautiful heart raw kitchen here. :)
Fruity Ferments
Do try this at home! The benefits of consuming traditionally fermented foods are well documented. However, as they are not mass-produced, or available in mainstream stores, they can be hard to come by. The only equipment required are glass jars, a mixing bowl & a couple of plastic bags. Pretty much...
"Jelly & Ice Cream"
A new twist on an old favourite Fans of champagne jelly will love this ambrosial treat. Indulge yourself with a layer of invigorating Kombucha, its tiny bubbles suspended in a quivering jelly, topped with home made probiotic ‘ice cream’. It will leave you palate tingling, & your stomach ready for action. Acetic acid forming bacteria in the kombucha help raise stomach acidity, aiding digestion & killing pathogenic bacteria. Gelatine is high in protein, contains numerous essential amino acids, attracts water to its molecules helping food move through the digestive tract, & has an incredibly healing effect on...
"Slainte"
Unleash your inner Celt this Burns Night with a Kaptain Kombucha Mc Kilt Lifter. Trans-Atlantic sophistication meets hearty Pict rawness in this ultimate whisky sour/whisky mac hybrid. A cheeky blend of Equinox Ginger Kombucha, lavishly enhanced with the smooth, delicate undertones of a distinguished single malt. For a bolder, more pungent flavour substitute a deliciously peaty Islay malt for a taste of the windswept Western Isles. Perfect with neeps, tatties & haggis, or simply enjoy as a robust winter warmer.
